Get to know: Blair Norton

Southern Cross Partners has a new South Island investments relationship manager: Blair Norton.  

It's a time of growth at SCP, and that means we needed to hire another superstar relationships manager to assist our South Island investors. 

We asked Blair to answer some questions so you can get to know him better.  

What led you to your new role with SCP?

The opportunity to do something completely different from previous jobs whilst still giving me the chance to connect with people.   

What do you want investors and potential investors to know about you?  

That I’m a proud Cantabrian, warm, friendly and eager to connect with new and existing investors helping them understand and feel good about our investment opportunities.  

Tell us more about your life outside of SCP? 

I’m a keen sportsman (particularly a golfer these days) fitness enthusiast and guitarist who loves people. I particularly enjoy spending time with my family and friends.

• Favourite holiday spot? Glendhu Bay, Wanaka in the summer, Southeast Asia in the winter. 

• Favourite recipe? Sticky date pudding with Butterscotch Sauce, yum!   

• Favourite song?  Say it So by Weezer.          

• Favourite movie? Shawshank Redemption.   

• Favourite quote?  “Just tap it in” Happy Gilmore.
