Southern Cross Partners welcomes Simon Maule in Canterbury

Simon’s a born and bred Cantabrian and knows the area like the back of his hand. He’ll be working on the ground in Christchurch, focused on growing our loan portfolio across Canterbury. He comes to us with plenty of experience, having owned his own financial advice business for almost a decade. 

His expertise makes him the perfect fit for Southern Cross Partners’ lending team, as well as someone who can enhance our commitment to help Kiwis become better off through investing with property. 

Outside work, Simon enjoys spending time with his wife and son, and their dog Stanley. He likes to keep fit and active, playing touch and league, alongside being a diehard Warriors fan. 

Christchurch has a specific property market, and we want to ensure we’re working with local financial advisers in a way that works best for them and get access to the best lending opportunities for our investors. So, a permanent fixture in the region was a no brainer.   

Michael Tresch, our Wellington Regional Manager, has done an amazing job servicing Christchurch over the years. With this shift he now can dedicate more time to the lower North Island.
