The loan lowdown: April 2024
In this month’s Loan Lowdown, we’re highlighting some of our recent regional loans. While the bulk of our loans tend to be for properties in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch, our BDMs service a range of areas across the country.
- Refinance and construction: We assisted a company in Tauranga with the refinance and construction of 10 townhouses (out of 20) at a Brookfield development site. The loan term is 12 months, with an interest rate of 11.49% and an LVR of 48%.
- Residential investment property: We assisted an individual with the purchase of a 116 sqm three-bedroom, three-bathroom home on a 546 sqm section in Riverdale, Blenheim. The loan term is 12 months, with an interest rate of 9.89% and an LVR of 66%.
- Residential investment property: We helped a company in Queenstown with a refinance and top-up of a residential investment property loan. The property is a prime development site that includes a late 1980s two-storey dwelling in mostly original condition, positioned on the western side of the Queenstown township with lake views. The loan term is 12 months, with an interest rate of 9.99% and an LVR of 50%.
