She’s been part of the team for over a decade, making sure every investor’s experience is smooth and rewarding. From business development to analytics and now back with the investment team, Carlene has worn many hats and continues to bring a wealth of knowledge and a passion for helping things run seamlessly.
How long have you been with SCP and how did you come to join the team?
I've been with SCP for just over 10 years and personally knew Barry and Julia, our founders. When my family moved to Tauranga, they were looking to grow the business in the Bay of Plenty and Waikato, so it was great timing.
What do you do in your day-to-day role with SCP?
A varied role, including liaising with our investment and compliance teams to ensure we have all necessary documentation, setting up new investors in our system, and monitoring and reporting on our construction loan book.
What are you most excited about for 2026?
Our family has a number of personal projects on the go, and we’re looking forward to seeing how they progress – including a kitchen renovation.
