Get to know our investment team – Simone Vincent
Our dedicated investment team works hard to ensure our investors have a great customer experience with SCP. In this edition of our Get to Know Our Investment Team series, we introduce you to Simone Vincent, one of our wonderful Business Development Managers.
How long have you been with SCP and how did you come to join the team?
I began working with Southern Cross Partners six years ago. I had been asked to join the team here several times by an SCP employee and former colleague. At the time, I was working in real estate. However, given SCP came with such a high recommendation, when a project I was working on came to completion, I said yes!
Arriving at SCP was like joining a family. The team were talented, professional and down to earth. I couldn’t wait to get stuck into the role and be part of the team.
What do you do in your day-to-day role with SCP?
I’ve worked with several high-profile international companies as a Business Development Manager over the course of my career, and for a number of years, I ran my own business in the water sports industry.
Business ownership alongside my previous career experience has taught me the art of perfecting the customer journey. So, when it comes to looking after our team of lovely investors here at SCP, I have been able to translate that solution-based experience, ensuring investors are getting a truly valuable experience and outcome.
Day to day this looks like collaboration with the team to flesh out ideas, onboarding new investors, educating current investors about the product we offer, and answering general queries about our investments, framework, and general administration.
What are you most excited about for 2024?
Well, 2024 is already off to a good start with the successful rollout of several value-added initiatives for our customers. I feel it’s going to be an amazing year! There’s a lot of baggage behind us, (namely Covid) that SCP has expertly navigated. We are working on new offerings and always striving to be consistent in all we do.
On a personal note, I’m looking forward to bringing more energy to the table with new fitness goals and a close friend’s wedding in London.
